SIMPLE TIPS TO PARENTS FOR KIDS HEALTH

Now a days kids are suffering from many genetically and environmental disorders like allergy, sinusitis, etc. All medicinal specialists starts to giving heavy antibiotics and steroids in very early stage. But parents who care for their kids avoid such medicines and try to know more about the natural cure.
How do you know if your kid is healthy or not? You can be your baby's doctor by observing them everyday. If your kid is eating well, sleeping well, exercise well and gain weight well then it is said that the kid is healthy. There are some basic natural principals which will help us to monitor our kid's health.
Make them eat all kind of natural food:
We should make for them a balanced diet; rich of proteins, carbohydrates, fats, minerals and vitamins. There should be variety of foods and different colored vegetables and fruits in kids menu. This will attract them to eat along with giving them a lot of nutrition. New tastes should be added by using different types of herbs & spices.
Give more liquids:
Make them drink as much as liquids as you can. Milk is a complete balanced diet for kids because it is a great source of calcium and minerals. According to Ayurveda, after mother's milk, cow's milk is said to be the best as it is saatvik. Go for fresh juices or vegetable soups or juices instead of serving them soft drinks, soda, cocktails or other such preserved drinks.
Listen to their body:
When you are eating, notice how your body feels and when your stomach feels comfortably full. Sometimes, kids eat too much because they don't notice when they need to stop eating. Eating too much can make them feel uncomfortable as it hampers their digestive system, and over a period of time, it leads to unhealthy weight gain making them dull and inactive.
Limit screen time:
Now-a-days due to the updated technologies, kids spend a lot of time in watching TV, DVD's, playing handheld computer games, and using the computer. This in turn results in more sitting-down activities and less physical activities like running, cycling, swimming, playing games like cricket, badminton, etc. Physical activities help kids to be in pink of health and increase their immunity too. So, you should encourage them in doing these kind of stuffs and should limit screen time to just 1 hour a day.
Keep your kid happy & active:
Parents should figure out that in which activities is your kid the best or what does he like to do more. Not every kid loves cricket. Sometimes they are god-gifted or passionate about very different activities like karate, or kickball, or dancing, or singing. Parents should notice that carefully and help them to do those favorite activities regularly thereby keeping them happy & active everyday. You can also make a fun-to-do list for them and keep them busy with those activities. This will help them to stop watching TV or playing computer games.
Keep them healthy with Kids Yoga:
Yoga helps kids for their physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual upliftment. The benefits of Kids Yoga are:
  • Increases creativity
  • Increases flexibility
  • Encourages will power and concentration
  • Sharpens the memory
  • Develops kindness

  1. Thanks for sharing this thought here.Accroding to hygiene hypothesis "Exercising the immune system early in life (by exposure to germs) helps strengthen it and prevents allergies and asthma later in life".
